Under the theme, \u201cIndoor Air Quality is Health,\u201d<\/strong> the II CAI Congress<\/strong><\/a> will take place on November 26 and 27<\/strong>, organized by the Association of HVAC Equipment Manufacturers (AFEC<\/a>), the Spanish Technical Association for HVAC and Refrigeration (ATECYR<\/a>), and the Federation of Indoor Environmental Quality Companies (FEDECAI<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Indoor air quality is especially significant because HVAC systems play a crucial role in helping prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Thus, the goal is to provide a global perspective on indoor air quality in the context of the worldwide pandemic caused by Covid-19<\/strong>\u2014a context in which this sector has much to contribute, not only from an economic or legal perspective<\/strong> but also from a health perspective<\/strong>. Good indoor air quality ensures ventilation and air filtration in all types of buildings, which helps reduce the likelihood of virus transmission.<\/p>\n

With the arrival of colder weather, the discussion around ventilation has intensified across many sectors, particularly in educational centers<\/strong>. For this reason, a portion of the program will be dedicated to presenting specific, immediate recommendations to protect the educational community. Similarly, there will be a focus on healthcare centers, commercial spaces, and our homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

AN ESSENTIAL EVENT TO EXPLORE SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVING INDOOR AIR QUALITY<\/h3>\n

The second edition of the CAI Congress will take place virtually on November 26 and 27, 2020<\/strong>, featuring both national and international experts who will primarily address indoor air quality in healthcare centers, educational institutions, senior residences, and commercial spaces.<\/p>\n

This Congress is an essential event where various experts will share their insights, opinions, and possible solutions on how to improve environments and what measures to apply to ensure Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)<\/strong>. Additionally, the significant role that HVAC, ventilation, filtration, and purification systems<\/strong> play in the current pandemic context will be emphasized, showing how these systems can help reduce SARS-CoV-2 transmission while improving indoor air quality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
