The World Refrigeration Day<\/a> will be celebrated this year on June 25<\/strong> with a virtual event that brings together representatives from across the refrigeration<\/strong> and HVACR<\/strong> industry\u2019s value chain. Borealis<\/a> is sponsoring this event,<\/strong> which will emphasize the significance of the refrigeration sector, as well as the training of professionals in current competencies.<\/p>\n

After the success of the first two editions held in 2019 and 2020, organizers: AEFYT<\/a><\/strong> (Spanish Association of Cold Storage Companies), AFAR<\/a><\/strong> (Andalusian Association of Refrigeration Manufacturers), and AFEC<\/a><\/strong> (Association of HVAC Manufacturers), are joining forces once again<\/strong> to highlight the important contributions of refrigeration technologies<\/strong> to societal wellbeing. This shared goal brings together different associations, companies, and industry professionals<\/strong> interested in staying up to date with the latest trends in technological innovation and new sustainability practices.<\/p>\n

With just two editions under its belt<\/strong>, World Refrigeration Day has already become a reference event<\/strong> in the refrigeration and HVACR industries, offering effective solutions<\/strong> to make daily life simpler and more comfortable. Key Sector in Critical Times<\/h2>\n

Amid the transformative changes happening globally, refrigeration technologies<\/strong> have proven capable of providing solutions during critical moments<\/strong> thanks to their great adaptability. With over 9,000 companies and 40,000 workers, these industries impact virtually<\/strong> all major economic sectors,<\/strong> making them essential to the value chain and sustainability and digital transformation processes.<\/p>\n

Various initiatives, such as the NEXT Generation Funds and the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, position these industries as key players in actions aimed at economic transformation,<\/strong> modernizing the industrial fabric, and fostering a sustainable, more digital, cohesive, inclusive society with no gender gaps.<\/p>\n

Efforts are focused on training professionals in the skills currently needed in the field,<\/strong> say industry associations. “Attracting a new generation of talent will continue this growth and evolution, demonstrating why refrigeration and HVACR are essential,” they confirm.<\/p>\n

All event participants will receive a digital version of the book by Gabriel Barcel\u00f3<\/strong>, titled \u201cHVAC and Refrigeration: After the COVID-19 Pandemic and in the Face of Climate Change.\u201d<\/p>\n
