ACE – Heat Pumps for Primary Air with Static Recovery
The ACE heat pumps are standalone units specifically designed for the thermal conditioning and, optionally, hygrometric control of primary ventilation air.
They are equipped with a dual energy recovery system (passive and active), inverter compressors, and EC fans, making them especially efficient units.
Borealis EBH heat pumps are specifically designed for heating water in swimming pools, indoor or outdoor.
They are optimized to achieve the best performance in this function. That is why the COP in standard conditions are around 5 and its SPF is much higher than 2.5 in any Spanish climate zone.
Borealis ED air-to-water heat pumps are specifically designed for the production of high-temperature water, between 55 and 75°C, and for the following applications:
Domestic Hot Water (DHW) production.
Heating circuits in 4-pipe installations.
High-temperature heating with low flow rates and high ΔT, even suitable for radiators.
GAW – Mixed Geothermal/Aerothermal Heat Pumps with Combined Refrigeration Circuit
The GAW units are combined aerothermal-geothermal heat pumps capable of producing DHW, heating, or cooling by using a geothermal well or outdoor air as the heat source. They are designed to make the most of aerothermal energy whenever possible to achieve optimal and very high efficiency, while conserving the energy stored underground. They are equipped with a highly flexible, custom-programmed electronic control system with web communication and Modbus.
The Borealis GW/GWr geothermal heat pumps are units specifically developed for use in commercial or industrial geothermal installations.
The GW geothermal heat pumps are single-effect units, with the reversible version being the GWr.
These units are designed with a focus on operational safety, maximisation of performance, and adaptation to installation requirements. They are equipped with a custom-programmed, highly flexible electronic control system with web communication and Modbus.
The Borealis HDR range of desiccant rotor dehumidifiers includes a wide variety of solutions designed to address dehumidification and air treatment in industrial, commercial, or advanced air conditioning processes.
The HDR units use proven desiccant rotor technology, enhanced to incorporate various rotor reactivation systems (steam, hot water, direct expansion, etc.) and additional air treatment options to complement dehumidification (post-cooling, post-heating, etc.).
The manufacturing flexibility that characterises Borealis allows us to tailor the functionality of our equipment to the customer’s needs, and the HDR units are no exception.
The Borealis GW/GWr geothermal heat pumps are units specifically developed for use in domestic or commercial geothermal installations.
The GW geothermal heat pumps are single-effect units, with the reversible version designated as GWr.
These units are designed with priorities on operational safety, maximising performance, and adapting to the specific needs of the installation: the same basic model can be enhanced with circulator pumps or advanced control systems.
The Borealis AB system comprises a set of modular elements that allow designers to flexibly assemble compact air-to-air equipment, precisely tailored to its function within the installation.
The system enables the design of machines with variable airflows and power outputs, suited for recirculation installations with mixing or 100% outdoor air systems, with the option to incorporate various types of energy recovery units (static, rotary…).
Experts agree that the true efficiency of a thermal system lies in closely matching the machine’s performance to the installation’s requirements, as each case is unique. Borealis AB equipment offers a superior level of flexibility that allows the designer to adapt the machine’s performance to the specific needs of the project through a modular system based on a common platform.
In this way, we refer to the AB equipment as a “system.”
ROE – Vertical Energy Recovery Units with Rotating Heat Exchanger
Energy Recovery Units with Rotating Heat Exchanger
Borealis ROE units are compact energy recovery units with a vertical design, specifically designed to optimize energy efficiency in ventilation and air conditioning systems by recovering heat from extracted air.
HRC – High efficiency stand-alone dehumidifying air conditioners for indoor swimming pools
Borealis HRC air conditioners are stand-alone heat pumps designed for use as dehumidifying air conditioners for indoor swimming pools.
These units consist of a heat pump cooling unit coupled to an air treatment unit with static energy recovery and high efficiency. The air treatment section is equipped with a regenerative system for the recuperator and coil circuit. The HRC units include a complete programmable control system that can be customised by the user, with Modbus and IP communication.
HH – Horizontal Heat Pumps for Dehumidification and Climate Control of Medium to Large Indoor Pools
The Borealis HH dehumidifier range represents Borealis’ traditional refrigeration technology alternative for medium and large indoor pools. This is not an ordinary machine, as it incorporates innovative elements and solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of the unit, reducing installation and maintenance costs.
The new generation of HH dehumidifiers has undergone a profound redesign, featuring significant improvements resulting from years of market experience.
The AHUs (Air Treatment Units) and recuperators are in charge of providing treated air and ventilation to air-conditioned places, being their objective to guarantee the quality of the environment. These units control air renewal and cleaning, temperature, humidity and air flow among other parameters.
Our range of air conditioners offers numerous integration and design options, both in terms of standard and optional components. The basic configurations can be complemented with a wide variety of accessories, such as additional high efficiency filter stages, customer selectable exchangers of various types, adiabatic cooling modules, germicides, etc.
HRU – High-Efficiency Horizontal Standalone Heat Pumps
The Borealis HRU range consists of dehumidifiers for indoor swimming pools that use a combination of passive and active dehumidification systems to achieve maximum energy efficiency.
HS/HV – Heat Pump Dehumidifiers with 4 to 28 kg/h Capacity
The Borealis HS and HV dehumidifier ranges are designed to the same standards as our larger HH units. This allows small to medium-sized pool facilities and spas to be equipped with high-quality machines that meet the performance needs of professional projects and installations.
HRR – High-Efficiency Dehumidifying Heat Pumps for Indoor Pools
The Borealis HRR range consists of dehumidifying climate control units for indoor pools, utilising a combination of passive and active dehumidification systems to achieve maximum energy efficiency.
