BOREALIS-UV is an air purification system tested and developed by Borealis Energía Térmica, suitable for installation in both our equipment and spaces with other HVAC systems.
This system is based on the germicidal effect of ultraviolet light, enabling the elimination of pathogens like bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that could pose health risks.
Our solutions provide dual protection with high-efficiency filters and the germicidal effect of UV-C ultraviolet light.
The only effective ultraviolet light is UV-C, which is highly energising and has germicidal properties against microorganisms.

UV COIL
Suitable for installation on the coils of Air Handling Units and heat pump units. The UV light bathes the coil surfaces, with reflectors to maximise the light generated by the lamps.
UV LINE
Suitable for installation in circular and rectangular air ducts.
UVBOX
Designed for spaces without air distribution systems or those requiring portability. These units are selected based on air volume to be treated.
Installation
Our duct (UV-Line) or coil (UV-Coil) systems are easy to install with the provided installation system, including adjustable lamp mounts, electrical panel with ballasts, and quick connectors.
Advanced versions include a radiometer in the lamp area, safety micro-switches, and a communicable digital control system within the electrical panel.
If installed in Borealis equipment, the unit’s electronics can control the UV lamps.
