Borealis, a company belonging to the Campos Corporación group, attended as a speaker at Climaval 2014, the second edition of the comprehensive energy management congress held on September 25 in Valencia, which brought together 170 professionals from the sector.
Climaval 2014, organized by AVAESEN and InnDEA Valencia, focused in this edition on the hotel sector, which was presented with new technologies in energy efficiency that can reduce the energy bill of hotels by up to 40%.
Francisco Vidal, director of Borealis, the Campos Corporation group company specializing in the design and manufacture of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment oriented towards energy savings, participated in the round table ”Eco-friendly air conditioning” along with other experts in the sector Carlos Manzano, Mitsubishi Electric Europe and Enrique Pascual of CARRIER Spain.
The director of Borealis, showed to the hotels efficient solutions for the air conditioning of spas and swimming pools. These solutions can reduce the energy bill of hotels by up to 65%. Within the fixed costs of a conventional hotel, 9% refers to energy costs, while in hotels with spa or heated pools, these energy costs are 25%.
