The Energy Engineering research group of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche has designed a solar cooling system that seeks to reduce energy demand for air conditioning of buildings. To this end, it has had the collaboration of Borealis Energía Térmica and the project is based on the development of a photovoltaic evaporative chimney, is the result of a work funded by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Innovation of the UMH.
